After a very fun, very successful sixth event and a one year anniversary I'd like to announce that our next event will be an overnight deal. Mark your calendar and pack a sleeping bag, the next LAN is January 29th and 30th! We're starting at 8pm on Friday and ending at 10pm on Saturday night. Unfortunately the costs for us have just about doubled so we do need to raise the price a bit; we're looking at $30 per person if you pay at the door, $25 if you prepay online ahead of time. In addition, if you prepay before December 10th (random date I picked out of my ass) you can prepay at the regular $20 rate. Finally, to make things even more confusing; if you've been to at least 3 of our events (we keep track!) we'll let you prepay for the $20 rate until January 1st. We'd love to fill up and have a great event, as usual HeXDeMoN is working on getting us some great prizes (hopefully no more 2008/2009 calendars, though!) and we'll work to make this the best LAN we've done thus far!
I'd like to also note that pictures from the previous two events are now online in the photo gallery; I apologize for my laziness in not uploading last events photos (and losing all the ones I took myself!). We're looking forward to a great event, go forth and sign up now!

Fivo and Stevo from Midwest-Fragfest will be co-hosting LANmine VI. Kagaku ran into financial speedbump because his wife lost her job, so we needed someone else to help cover the costs since .. no one is prepaying... for whatever reason. Request your vacation, book the flight and reserve the hotel. LANmine VI is happening on November 7th - almost exactly one year after we began this little hobby. It's been a great run thus far and our last event turned out to be one of our best. We were hoping to try for an overnight event this time around however our venue requires us to get approval from the 'board' - this can only happen once a month and we missed our September window. Unfortunately this means we wouldn't find out for certain until the end of October - a bit too close to let everyone know. No word on what prizes we'll have in store yet.
Fifteen bucks at the door, ten if you prepay (you are prepaying, right?) and 12 hours of fun and games. Hope to see you there! Registration is now open!
